UniverCity Family CDC is a nonprofit organization founded by Tykese Brodnax in 2016, based in Memphis, TN. The organization was born out of Tykese's personal experiences overcoming adversity and her desire to help others facing similar challenges.

Mission and Vision

UniverCity Family CDC's mission is to break the cycle of poverty, promote sustainable change, and build a thriving community. They aim to create opportunities for families to succeed through education, economic empowerment, and community engagement. Their vision is to empower and uplift communities by implementing a comprehensive two-generational approach to combat poverty.
