Miavea Asberry is from the dirty-dirty south … literally.  She was born in Helena, Arkansas to parents who were foodies.  Her roots are so deeply southern that she, with age and maturity, has become the quintessential  Southern Belle.  She knows what it takes to feed happy people. 

Her brand, MA Foods, LLC., has a premier product called M.A.zing Sauce, which was created during the pandemic.  You get a sense of  Miavea’s southern hospitality as she prepares foods on her Youtube channel, “Miavea Asberry.” She’s a songstress too and you get to hear her soulful singing paired with her soulful cooking.

Miavea has been in the food industry since 2006. She’s been cooking since 2008.  Guess what? She’s been married since 2008. When asked if she is family-oriented, she said, “I’m not necessarily family-oriented, but I’m husband-oriented,” and laughed like a schoolgirl when she said it. She considers her marriage one of her greatest achievements.  When asked for a quirky thought about herself, she said, “I secretly, in my head, consider myself to be a Stepford Wife.” Wow! Southern Belle all the way! She was a bit apologetic about this, thinking that she would offend so-called “forward-thinking” women.  No ma’am. On the contrary, every woman is responsible for her own set of standards. Thank you, Miavea, for being courageously honest with us.

Miavea has also had the privilege of being a general manager for a large casual chain restaurant.  She has literally worked in every type of restaurant from fast food to casual dining to high-end dining.  Her current professional role tagline is Chef.  She is a premier member of the United States Personal Chef Association “USPCA”.  Her brand is MA Foods and her premier product is M.A.zing Sauce, which has been purchased by residents from fourteen different states.

Her M.A.zing Sauce is one of her crowning achievements. Her goal is to see her sauce on shelves around the world.  Yes, Chef Miavea Asberry, sole proprietor of MA Foods, aspires to go international.
