Operation Taking Back 901 is a 501(c)(3) organization based in Shelby County, dedicated to empowering youth and their families through a wide range of educational and economic programs. Our organization was established July 1, 2016. With a strong emphasis on community development and social services, the organization operates five key programs: Road to Greatness, Career Ready, Little Scholars Mentoring, Homebound, and UPliftHER. Each of these programs is designed to foster personal growth, workforce development, and educational success. We take pride in creating opportunities for participants to reach their full potential.
The organization is built on core values such as empowerment, integrity, innovation, and collaboration, with a focus on creating sustainable, lasting impacts in the community.
Operation Taking Back 901 works closely with the City of Memphis, Shelby County Government, State of Tennessee, local partners and sponsors, to achieve its mission of fostering positive change in the lives of Shelby County residents.
