Ashshahid Muhammad is an artist and educator who shares his life story to inspire young people. Overcoming a challenging past that included time in a juvenile detention center, addiction, and homelessness, Muhammad found solace and a path to sobriety through his art. He now works with Project Hospitality on Staten Island and volunteers in schools, using his coloring and comic books to educate children about the dangers of drugs and crime. Muhammad's mission is to show young people that they can create a positive future, regardless of their circumstances.
