“ Defend the Defenseless, Bringing light to the dark and hope to the hopeless. ”

About

From the Foxhole to the Frontlines We Fight Monsters is not just a nonprofit; it is a promise kept. Born on the streets of South Memphis, our organization was founded by Ben and Jess Owen, who once battled the very monsters they now fight—homelessness, addiction, and the chaos of the streets.

In the darkest moments of their own struggle, they made a "foxhole prayer": God, if you get us out of this, we will come back for the people we love.

Today, that prayer is an active operation. We are a team of survivors, veterans, and community warriors dedicated to confronting the "twin evils" of human and narcotics trafficking. We don't just offer handouts; we offer a way out. By purchasing and renovating former "trap houses" into Dope to Hope homes, we are physically reclaiming our neighborhoods one block at a time.

We fight the monsters of addiction. We fight the monsters of blight. We fight for the forgotten. Because we believe that rock bottom has a basement—and even there, hope can still get in.
