On September 15, 2025, at 10 a.m. CST, the heart of Memphis will beat a little stronger as the MVP3 Foundation unveils a monumental new public mural, “Three Generations.” This stirring work of art is more than paint on a wall—it is a living story of legacy, fatherhood, and the unbreakable bond that connects us across time.

Created by Cameron Hill, a gifted Memphis native, artist, and educator, the mural captures with breathtaking detail the strength of family, the wisdom passed from one generation to the next, and the power of storytelling to heal. Through his artistry, Hill has given voice to love, resilience, and memory in a way only the soul of Memphis can.

This unveiling is not only a celebration but a sacred moment of community healing. Sponsored by the MVP3 Foundation, the City of Memphis, Councilman Edmund Ford, Sr., Hyatt Place Memphis Germantown, and others to be announced, this event carries with it both the blessing of our city and the strength of its people.

For Marie Pizano, founder and president of the MVP3 Foundation, this day holds personal meaning.
"We are humbled to honor this powerful creation, which reminds us of the impact of legacy and the irreplaceable role of fathers in our families and communities. This unveiling is dedicated to my dear friend, the late John Amos—forever remembered as 'America’s Dad.' Through this, we continue his mission of hope, healing, and truth through the arts."

At the ceremony, Robrecus “Rico” Parker, a Southwest Tennessee Community College student, will receive the second MVP3 John Amos Grant, carrying forward the legacy of a man who uplifted voices with courage and mentored young talent with wisdom. This grant stands as a promise—that John’s light will not fade, but will shine on through every storyteller who dares to speak with purpose and integrity.

The City of Memphis will present a heartfelt Proclamation, led by Councilman Ford, Sr., while Commissioner Ford, Jr. will honor the occasion with a County proclamation and the presentation of a county key—symbols of how this mural belongs not just to one corner of Memphis, but to us all.

And because the message must reach even further, from September 15–20, the mural and its mission will illuminate Times Square, inspiring onlookers across the country with its call to carry forward love, memory, and empowerment.

The MVP3 Foundation, born from Marie Pizano’s vision, continues its work to heal hearts, empower youth, and rebuild communities through arts, mentorship, and education—transforming pain into purpose, and dreams into reality.
