The MVP3 Foundation, under the leadership of Chairwoman and President Marie Pizano, is offering eight paid internship opportunities for students aged 14-21 interested in film and television. This hands-on program empowers young creatives to gain real-world experience, contribute to impactful documentaries, and build the skills needed for a successful career in filmmaking—all while earning up to $4,000 this summer and fall.

About the Opportunity

The MVP3 Foundation, a Memphis-based nonprofit dedicated to healing and empowering communities through the arts, is opening doors for the next generation of filmmakers. Spearheaded by Marie Pizano—author, producer, and CEO of MVP3 Media Group—the foundation is seeking passionate students for its paid Film/TV Internship Program. This initiative is designed to provide comprehensive, practical training in documentary filmmaking, with projects slated for theatrical and streaming release.

What Interns Will Experience

• Hands-On Learning: Interns will work directly on significant documentary projects, learning the art and business of filmmaking from industry professionals and guest mentors.
• Real-World Impact: The documentaries produced will be screened in theaters and on streaming platforms, giving interns a tangible portfolio and public recognition for their work.
• Career Development: The program emphasizes not only creative skills but also business acumen, storytelling, and media responsibility—preparing students for sustainable careers in the entertainment industry.
• Special Projects: Exciting news is expected about an animated project featuring well-known industry actors, offering unique exposure to high-profile productions.

Program Details

• Eligibility: Open to students aged 14-21 with an interest in film, television, and media production.
• Orientation: Mandatory session on June 23, 2025.
• Start Date: July 1, 2025, with flexible schedules throughout the summer and into the fall semester.
• Compensation: Each intern can earn between $3,500 and $4,000, making this both an educational and financially rewarding opportunity.
• Application: Interested students must attend the orientation to be considered.
