Nouvelle Vie Center for Women
Suggested Mission: Nouvelle Vie exists to empower Survivors of Domestic Abuse to create a new life, find wholeness and peace by providing a safe environment where each woman is valued, supported, and provided with the resources necessary for success.
Suggested Vision: Nouvelle Vie strives to be the premier resource center for Survivors of Domestic abuse nationwide. Through education, resources, and legislation, it is our goal to reduce the occurrence of domestic abuse and protect vulnerable women.
Nouvelle Vie from a mile-high view looks like a French chateau, spa, retreat, resource center physically and is the service center for the orgnaization.
We will provide survivor advocacy, transportation, court support, legal representation, etc. Education, therapy, legal aid, total support for survivors through various life skills, childcare, financial education, career guidance, will all be aspects of the services we will offer.
We need an executive board, executive director, program director, advocates, court watchers, attorneys, support staff, shelter managers, intake coordinators, and lobbyists. We want to create laws that protect and defend victims, while holding abusers accountable by carrying appropriate penalties and consequences.
Focus on survivor wholeness through relationship with their Creator is also key. We will not force a non-religious person to participate in religious activities, but we will encourage them to explore this aspect of their lives. Unconditional love and encouragement are the main goals. It is up to the individual to make good choices and ultimately become who they were meant to be.
