Tamarques Porter is a proud Memphis native and Melrose High School graduate whose journey from the heart of Orange Mound to a career in Information Technology reflects a deep commitment to educational excellence and community empowerment. After earning his degrees in Information Technology and Technology Management, Porter dedicated his career to leveraging technology for positive social change.
Currently, Porter serves as an Information Technology Specialist with the U.S. Department of Treasury, where he combines technical expertise with a passion for community engagement. His work extends beyond his professional role, as he actively mentors students and advocates for educational access through various community initiatives. Through these efforts, Porter empowers individuals with essential language and computer literacy skills, helping to bridge educational gaps and inspire lifelong learning.
