Amanda's Way was founded in 2014 is response to a need for domestic abuse services in Tiption county TN. The lack of available services locally was discovered in 2003 after the murder of Amanda Wallace Chapman. Her sister, Andrea, answered the call and the prompting of the Lord to begin offering hope to the abuse victims of Tipton County. After 6 years of serving the local community, it became clear that service expansion into surrounding areas, and across the State was necessary to grow.

After a season of strategic planning by a group of dedicated professional women who recognized a need for a different way of serving victims of Domestic Abuse and their children, The Amanda's Way Foundation was recreated in 2020. Through this season of change and discovery, it was also determined that it was time for Amanda's Way to become The Amanda's Way Foundation and create a sister organization, Nouvelle Vie Center for Women. The Amanda's Way Foundation will fundraise for Nouvelle Vie through various campaigns and by keeping Amanda's story alive to educate others and prevent domestic abuse.
