New Dawn Social Services (NDSS) is a faith-based organization dedicated to supporting individuals transitioning from penal facilities and rehabilitation centers back into society. Our mission is to improve outcomes and remove barriers associated with community reintegration.

Our Leadership
NDSS is led by Executive Director Sharon A. Smith, who brings over 20 years of experience working with marginalized and underserved individuals. The organization's vision, originally conceived by the late Dr. Mary L. Avery, was revitalized in 2017 by Mary, Wesley, Crystal, and Sharon.
