AngelStreet Memphis

Developing girls to be creative leaders through music and mentoring.

About

AngelStreet began in November 2013 when eleven girls from Oasis of Hope and STREETS Ministries came together to perform at a Women's Christmas Dinner at Hope Church. This initial collaboration sparked the creation of a unique program focused on empowering young women through music and mentorship.

Our Mission

AngelStreet is dedicated to enhancing the lives of young women through the power of music and mentoring. We aim to fill the void of arts education in local schools and provide creative programs specifically for females in underserved communities.

What We Offer
  • Music Education: Providing opportunities for young women to learn, write, and perform music.
  • Mentorship: Connecting girls with positive female role models in a supportive environment.
  • Performance Opportunities: Showcasing talent at various events throughout Memphis and beyond.
  • Creative Expression: Encouraging personal growth and self-confidence through artistic pursuits.
Our Growth

Since our inception:

  • We've expanded to a second chapter at STREETS Ministries in Graham Heights in 2018.
  • Over 300 lives have been positively impacted through our programs.
  • Our choir has performed for local government officials, President Jimmy Carter, and alongside Christian artists at prestigious venues like the Grand Ole Opry.
