Morgan County Dems are focused on what issues unify us as Tennesseans rather than what divide us. We are supporting candidates that have the best interests of the PEOPLE of our statehood at heart, and are listening to the voices of the voters; not just the corporate lobbyists. We believe the majority of our citizens are unified when it comes to: Access to healthcare for all; Medicaid funding that our tax dollars have already contributed towards; access to a good education for every child and student; mental and physical healthcare for our veterans; concern for preserving and protecting our environment; common sense gun safety legislation to protect our children and citizens; and the right to family planning without the government in those deeply personal decisions. Equal right and access to housing, voting, freedom from hunger. We are not a 3rd world country. This is America and we are going to fight for a change in TN where the current majority has gotten drunk with power and they are not listening to the people's voices or to the minority legislators who represent us.
