We are a proud women-founded and Black-led nonprofit organization offering fun, affordable, and accessible online classes and workshops for adults. Our classes range from painting and calligraphy to mastering Excel and financial planning. Since 2014, we’ve hosted more than 1,500 classes and events while connecting with over 17,000 lifelong learners from Chattanooga and beyond.

At The Chattery, you can learn from a variety of community leaders, experts and hobbyists all who share a love for teaching, learning and exploring curiosities. Classes are dreamt up and taught by you — in other words, our classes are for the community, by the community.

We pop up in a variety of businesses and locations throughout Chattanooga but you can usually find us at our space on Rossville Avenue.

All classes are 16 and up unless otherwise noted.
